New York Fashion Week is back for 2023 with a release of their full event schedule ranging across the city! Want to plan your trip? We have rounded up the best hotels to book for the occasion.
Located on the corner of Madison Avenue and 76th Street, The Carlyle has been a hospitality authority for almost 100 years now. Surrounded by high-end boutiques like Louboutin, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Tom Ford, and Prada, the Art Deco hotel welcomes guests into the beating heart of Manhattan. Guests will be minutes away from landmarks such as Central Park, the Met Museum, the Guggenheim, among others.
The hotel is a 20-minute car ride away from 50, Varrick Street, the main location of the New York Fashion Week.
The 192 rooms and suites are a perfect blend of Old-World charms with contemporary comforts. The accommodation is spacious, starting at 33 square-meter with the Superior Room, with views of the Manhattan skyline, featuring an Art Nouveau-inspired décor, and a sumptuous marble bathroom.
Guests are treated to Chef Sylvain Delpique’s traditional American dishes within the stylish new dining room at the Dowling’s. Located just minutes away from The Carlyle, The Lowell Hotel offers a much more intimate experience of the Upper East Side. Though within walking distance to a slew of boutiques such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Barney’s and Bloomingdale’s, the hotel’s reserved atmosphere makes for a private stay at the heart of Manhattan.
Though housed in a 1929 building, the interiors of the Lowell present a chic loft residential look and feel. The 74 rooms and suites feature a warm décor and comfortable modern furniture. The entry-level Lowell Rooms starting at a generous 37 square-meter, with lush fabrics such as cashmere on the bed and thick oriental rugs on the polished oak floors. The Carrera or Selene marble bathrooms come with separate bathtub and shower.
The Lowell Hotel delights with its 4 restaurants and bars. Namely, the French-Mediterranean outlet Majorelle, featuring a menu from Chef Jean Christophe Guiony, and the Jacques Bar, with its opulent Art Deco interiors. The Club Room and the Pembroke Room complete the hotel’s culinary offering, with the latter serving daily breakfast and weekend brunch.
Though The Lowell doesn’t have a spa, a fully equipped fitness center is located on the 2nd floor and in-room massages are available.
