Il Sereno Lago di Como Hotel

Opened in 2016 in the picturesque town of Torno, Il Sereno’s oversized suites and unobstructed water views make all the difference. This hotel has no bad angle, with a décor of understated grays and blues reminiscent of the lake, and lots of regional stone, local walnut and saddlebag brown. Like that gorgeous staircase in the lobby, and the chairs, sofas and loungers in the rooms, in fabrics from textile houses around the Lombardy region. Outside, gardens landscaped by botanist Patrick Blanc and Flavio Pollano include orange trees, fan palms, a large plane tree by the lap pool, and a green wall of over 300 plant species.
