Some fates are strewn with stars... Fred Samuel's was strewn with diamonds, pearls and multi-hued stones since his birth in 1908, in a family who traded in them in Argentina. The enigma of precious stones fueled his creativity from an early age, from the time the royal couple of Nepal asked him to create a collection to match the saris of the court in the 1950s. His inspiration came from shimmering, multicolored silks, which he reproduced with a palette of sapphires and diamonds.

She is a graduate of the National Gemological Institute, joining Maison Fred in 2020 and nurturing her expertise and passion for precious stones ever since.

You will also come face to face with a crucial stage in the design of high jewelry: the sourcing of the most beautiful stones from around the world. Oksana will be there, guiding you through the art of gemmology with anecdotes and explaining how to differentiate stones, what makes them special and how to analyze them under a magnifying glass.
