For Aristide Najean, the elusive Murano glass was a possibility for him to extend the scope of his work. Originally a painter, Aristide came to Murano with the sole objective of mastering the intricate craft of glassmaking, and after decades of hard work, he is now recognized -even among his Italian colleagues- as being one of the best master glassmakers alive today. Blending his knowledge of colors and composition with the unique medium that is the Murano glass, Aristide has established himself as an artist of both skills and vision.
