I now share my life around three great passions; nature, music and painting. What I wish above all is to make you discover the rich the rich cultural and natural heritage of Tulum's surroundings through adventurous excursions with a sense of adventure, always accessible and complemented by informative content with a focus on on the local flora and fauna.
Originally from Quebec City, Martine Dufour has been to the four corners of the Americas. After much travelling, it was finally Tulum that won her over in 2011, and where she decided to settle down after being seduced by its dazzling nature. A graduate in anthropology and journalism, Martine is also a certified naturalist guide for the Yucatan peninsula. Her wish is to help more people discover the rich cultural and natural heritage of the surroundings of Tulum through excursions in nature, and getting close to local fauna and flora.
During this Immersion, you will be able to join Martine for a full day excursion. The exploration of Sian Kann starts with a walk in the rainforest to understand this mysterious ecosystem. The first part of the excursions ends with an exploration of the ancient city of Muyil, the main archaeological site of the reserve. In the second part of the day, the experience will continue by boat, for an epic crossing of the different ecosystems that make up the freshwater areas of the reserve, through a historical route. A "floating" session is included.
